An you see, the electrification of the NDLS-ASR route was done way back in 1999-2000, and we being very close to the main line, I mean Rajpura Jn. and we being on an important route called RBR (Rajpura-Bathinda Route) as is mentioned by IR itself in their documents, still looking for any upgradation for the past so so many yrs. In 2002, CORE had sent a proposal to electrify RBR, but Board refused it by saying, let the Zonal Division send the requests.
