Railways unveils development plans for Coimbatore stations

of Coimbatore North Station as an Amrit Station, expansion of Irugur Junction with higher-level platforms, doubling of the railway line between Irugur and Podanur stations, and a new coaching terminal at Podanur Station. A circular train service connecting Irugur, Podanur, and Coimbatore is being proposed. The Railways are also considering a Vande Bharat train service from Ernakulam to Bengaluru via Coimbatore. A new terminal at Nallampalayam, north of Coimbatore City, is being considered to ease congestion at Coimbatore North Station.

Irugur, Podanur aur Coimbatore ko connect karne wali circular train service ka bhi proposal hai. Railways Ernakulam se Bengaluru tak Coimbatore via Vande Bharat train service par bhi विचार कर रही है। Coimbatore City ke north mein Nallampalayam pe ek new terminal banane ka proposal bhi hai, jisse Coimbatore North Station ka congestion कम होगा।
