The hydrogen will be supplied by a 1-megawatt (MW) Polymer Electrolyte Membrane (PEM) electrolyser installed in Jind, capable of producing 430 kg of hydrogen per day. TUV-SUD, a German company, has been enlisted for a third-party safety audit, with trial runs expected to begin in December 2024.

The Railway Board has directed the concerned zone to make preparations for the special services, which are expected to feature 22 compartments including 13 for sleeping and 7 standard ones. One of the special trains, numbered 05585, will depart from Raxaul every Friday, starting from October 4th, 2023, and running until January 31st, 2025. Another train, numbered 05586, will depart from the Lokmanya Tilak Terminal every Sunday at 4:35 PM. Additionally, Bihar’s Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar, has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi requesting a new Vande Bharat train line connecting Sitamarhi in Bihar to Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh, aiming to facilitate travel for devotees visiting the Punaura Dham Janki Mandir in Sitamarhi and the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
