They highlighted the traffic congestion caused by the presence of numerous companies in Sonbhadra-Singrauli and demanded the resumption of the Shaktinagar-Varanasi Intercity, scheduling its departure at 10 pm from Shaktinagar to reach Varanasi by 4 am. Other demands included adjustments to the timing of the Triveni Express, linking the Shaktinagar-Jabalpur Intercity, introducing a new train from Shaktinagar to Delhi, constructing a flyover in Chilkadand, providing lifts for disabled and elderly passengers at the Shaktinagar station, and repairing and widening the road connecting the station to the main road.
