Project mein teen yard lines ka use kiya jaayega aur station ke infrastructure ko behtar banaya jaayega, jismein flyover, subway aur dusre naye nirman bhi shamil hain. Iske alawa, South Eastern Railway zone 'Kavach' safety system ko implement kar raha hai, jise ek saal ke andar Kharagpur se Rourkela tak Tata Nagar aur Bhadak se hoti hui trains par lagaya jaayega. Zone is project ke liye jaldi hi tender nikalne wala hai, jismein aagle teen saalon mein 9,000 km track aur 10,000 locomotives ko 'Kavach' system se laas karne ka plan hai.
