Does this mean IR won't be importing FIAT bogies anymore? If so, it's a great news.
Just my curiosity : It's well known that the LHB coaches were imported from Germany way back in 2002. How come they've ignored the FIAT bogies (essential part)? That explains why IR hasn't been able to manufacture enough LHB coaches.

Absolutely, no import of wheels now. The development of the LHB wheels was taken up after the LHB coaches began to be manufactured in India. Now all parts of LHB Coaches are produced in Rail Coach Factories of India. It costs about 2.5 Crore, 1 Crore more than ICF Coaches.

Finite Element Analysis is a process and not the Software name. Major softwares used for FEA are ANSYS, Nastran, Siemens NX, Autodesk Simulation(ALGOR) etc with the help of Meshing softwares like HyperMesh, D3D etc.
Other loads involves Ageing Load, Thermal Ageing load, Wind Load etc.
