It is possible actually, esp if there is a will to improve the system and take advantage of higher speed capacity that LHB rakes can utilize (but don't, esp on this route). It appears that much of TT is designed around 90km/h cruising speed, higher speeds only to make up (plus a boat load of buffer many of these trains are given). Simply raising it to 105 km/h for LHB rakes would enable running the distance in 25.5 hours (Duronto does so in about 26 hours, and while they don't have commercial stops they do have tech stops). This, of course, assumes that the tracks can support 120-125 km/h for make up time, which I think should be possible.
