A super clash between two legendary trains connecting the important metros of India : Mumbai and Kolkatta. I was lucky enough to capture this and I was unaware of the Gitanjali Express which was coming from behind. Now with CSTM CR line all set to get AC'fied, this could well be the last few days with these two trains with their WCAM link. Both these trains are expected to be upgraded to the respective WAP4/5/7 link. Both the trains were powered by KYN WCAM3. Thanks for the hello WCAM's.
Trains : 12860 HWH CSTM Gitanjali Express and 12809 CSTM HWH Mail (via Nagpur).
Location

: Bhandup, CR
Both the trains follow the route : Dadar, Kalyan, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Akola, Badnera, Nagpur, Durg, Raipur, Bilaspur, Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Chakradharpur, Tatanagar, Kharagpur and Santragachi to reach Howrah Junction and vice versa.

That was my thought as well. While Gitanjali has yellow plate (ECoR), Mumbai Mail has red (SER), the first train was shorter and had fewer AC coaches than Mumbai Mail (24-coacher, 6 AC).
