The Brindavan SF Exp. 12640 from today SBC Dep: 15:00 hrs. and Chennai Arv. 21:05 hrs. So 10 min early departure and 10 mins early arrival at MAS is Gr8 !
We thank SR Officials they have done this much help to its Passengers. It is very idle if 20:45 hrs at MAS, hope SR can do something so that long-distance-Passengers reach home bit early through public-transport.

ignatiusjosephblr 51 blog postsDD revised timings from 1/9/2014 SBC dep. 14:30 and MAS arival: 20:35 as per irctc, even can start at 14:15 hrs. due to Double Decker-train can speed increase but lot of Curves in this route, so safety should not be compromised, and DD covers in 6H.05M with AC till all the way fresh is great.

The Brindavan SF Express doesn't matter whether WAP4 or WAP7, but make Run-Slow is the issue to all Intermediate-Stations due to one Stoppage suppose 15 mins Late and Next-Stoppage either to Gain-Speed or another few minutes Reduced-Late is good, and after 2-minutes alloted @ Stations stop but make 5+minutes Late at Stations without any Crossings not there except goods train, but next-stop again 30-45+ minutes further Late is very strange by concerned officials & some Aged Loco Pilots who knows. Like this all intermediate-stations Passengers reaching Late. So PRO and Station Masters to Run this Train On-time which will help Passengers reach home/work place.

As usual SR made this train to get humiliated . First was Providing stops at unnecessary locations , second it was the removal of two AC chair coaches, 3rd was reducing the 2S coaches , 4th was by removing the final AC Chair car which was left , 5th was the removal of the Pantry Car. A die hard fan Brindavan would never forget the Yummy food which was provided in Brindavan and the magnificent run it used to have. Now this legend has 23 coaches, Yes you read it right, it was 23 . The PC was not replaced by an UR or with a 2S. I was shocked when i looked this Legend with a modest look. This Legend was crushed like anything by this stupid SR which wanted to increase the patronage of Double Decker. It was one of the few day Intercity type trains which had 24...

Agreed your above points that Railways cut all facilities as you mentioned to upgrade another new train. It is first time it happened in our Railways.
-Brindavan Express been robbed from 1-7-2012 slot and scale down its facilities, so that new Double Decker to survive passengers &as per Times of India News/Chennai/7-2-2013. So speed 62 reduced to match DD run 58 kmph. May be double deck LHB Coach-Weight is more than regular coach may be and several-curves may slow. Cause both takes same running hours. From morning SBC-Mas Intercity SF/12610 dep. 8am then DD starts after 6.30hrs gap but ticket fare is higher Rs.470 only emergency we used and aircondition effect is gone once Central platform arrived due to humidity. Also its original Speed 62 KMPH and from 1-7-2012 Reduced to 58 KMPH. Also 58-years original SLOT Changed for DD, due to this NOW facing non-schedule stopping at Baiyyapanahalli Station for long time waiting for Late running Karnataka Exp to cross to SBC.
