Are waiting list passengers are allowed in train now. My parents travelled in September 2021 and waiting list passengers were not allowed. It was peaceful journey for them. I am planning to travel this week by booking tatkal ticket in 02791 : Secunderabad - Danapur SF Special . As Sleeper class tickets quota will be more. Planning to plan for it. Please share details if you know, if waiting list passengers are being allowed.

yes i will go for 2792/Patna Secunderabad SF Express
i will take the waiting list ticket and try for tatkal. if i get tatkal then no problem.
or else i can still travel with the waiting list ticket.

thank you for the reply and as you suggested if i book ticket from KJM and board the train at WL(Warangal) there are chances that TTE will allot the seat to others thinking that i haven't boarded the train at KJM.
Please let me know if i can book ticket at KJM and board the train at WL without loosing the seat.

hi,
mujhse galti ho gayi.
i was suppose to travel on friday at 1.00AM boarding at Warangal.
so i booked the ticket for 22-11-2013 from KJM to MGS and mentioned boarding point Warangal, but travel date on ticket from Warangal is 23-11-2013, as it will 23-11-2013 by the time train reaches warangal.
