The only solution to this problem is that all loco pilots will have to jointly lead an operation and this operation is to drive all trains below 10 kmph in all conditions until railways seriously does something in this matter regarding the safety of the trains. Whether it is Goods Train or Rajdhani Express or Vande Bharat Express, drive the train below 10 kmph, even when signal is green, so that after looking any obstruction on the tracks, the loco pilot can stop the train immediately by applying normal brakes and this operation should be launched all over india at the same time. Otherwise Railways will continue to kill the passengers, the loco pilots, the guards. I can see this as the only solution for the safety of the passengers, the loco pilots and the guards.

Not recommended. This is a way of protesting. So, either drive all trains below 10 kmph or go on strike and stop driving trains till demands are fulfilled.

May be due poor patronization. It was introduced mainly as it was difficult to keep it overnight at Barbil due to whatever reason it may be. Before its introduction, the rake used to be brought to Dangoaposi after it reached Barbil from Puri. It used to be kept at Dangoaposi for the night. Next morning it used to be taken to Barbil again to be started from there for Puri. Now Tata - Barbil Passenger and Puri - Barbil Express trains are being kept at Barbil at night. Some arrangements may have been made for this. So, it is not required to run from Barbil to Rourkela from the perspective of the railways.

SER is a totally lost cause now.
I have a feeling this train is deliberately being targetted since it serves a quite remote area post TATA.
Areas such as Chaibasa and Bara Jamdi are totally dependent on this train, if you exclude the Tata bound passengers. Absolutely shambolic behavior by SER.

For the complaint lodged in Rail Madad for delay of this train on date - 07/05/2024, they have replied - We acknowledge with thanks inconvenience is highly regretted.the matter is informed to cencerrned authority for necessary action.

I had told earlier that this train is deliberately being targeted as it runs into backward areas. Passengers must quit traveling by this train. Daily hundreds of complaints must be lodged against this train in PG Portal, Rail Madad, etc. and if possible case should be registered in Court.

'Where is my train' app is better and more accurate than NTES, because in NTES they deliberately feed wrong information, and if the train gets very late, they stop feeding data and then feed wrong information that it reached destination right time or with very less delay. Yesterday and today it is running with minimum delay which is really a miracle. It is only 14 minutes late at Sini today.

All General Coaches of this train have been moved to the last side of this train when traveling from Visakhapatnam to Tatanagar. This has caused a lot of confusion among passengers traveling by General Coaches. When this train is about to arrive, passengers are unable to know whether General Coaches will be in the front side or at the last side. Even the station staff are unable to provide accurate information regarding this matter on the spot. There are several stoppages of this train, where the platform length is short and unable to accommodate the full train. In such cases, all General Coaches remain out of platform. So, those passengers who know the placement of General Coaches are also unable to climb into them. Hence all passengers taking General tickets are compelled to travel in the Sleeper Coaches.
