I would wished this train to be at Tambaram permanently as well instead of Central. I had wondered that for the first time a train dedicated to Delhi was given to Tambaram, also known as Gateway of Chennai. Yes I agree with the legacy of this train, However after extension It had benefited passengers coming from Southern parts of Tamilnadu, they can easily change train at Tambaram instead coming to Central. Also SR is highly reluctant to start an new Daily train to Delhi from Madurai/Trichy side as even in Delhi there are many families belonging from that areas as well too...

I am replying from RailCal iOS App and unable to give rating. I don’t know why this train is diverted via long route. Ideally Nanded - Adilabad - Majri can be done. This train being Rajdhani is going via circus route. Purna to Akola via newly BG is a single line. 23.30 is seems little difficult seeing such huge delay. Unnecessarily they want loco change at Nagpur. Akola itself it can be done after reversal. (Maybe if there’s no P7 in Akola at this time) Cause for reversal they will consume more time. Let us see how long will it take now.
If via Adilabad the Electric link would have continued all the way. Via Akola in BG line has made this. Ideally if priority would have been given train would be late by max of 2.5 hours rather than 5-6 as of now.

Ha yes. Few trains are going via Majri which is after Chandrapur this line has link from Nanded via Adilabad. They could have sent this train via that route. Rather they preferred additional circus.
Terrible state of priority. Could be waiting for crew who are aware of that route. Ideally they must be coming from Nanded, not sure what has happened. NTES is also not being updated. The last update is of Secunderabad departure only.

I'm curious to know as well, why it's always the trains from ER who has to do the give away and suffer in between due to various changes. The stations where these requests are coming from already have the capabilities to run trains If there's dire demand then let SGNR start a train one Intercity to MTJ other regular to ALD Sangam but however we have seen what happens next and there's no end to these.
