Generation gap -only Railfans need Windows :)
Though this happened in November, i keep forgetting to post-only today got a chance to post this
Incident happened when I travelled in end of November by 12677 superfast to Coimbatore. A boy of about 10 years boarded with his parents at Carmelram station and were allotted middle, aisle and aisle seats while me and my mom occupied the Windows
My...
more... heart missed a beat-will he ask for a Window seat now-within 10 mins of train starting he fell asleep and I thanked God for giving me window seat for next sometime
Train crossed thoppur ghats and his father woke him up for breakfast-again pangs started-the boy also was pestering father something for which his father said " Have breakfast after that"
Now i was sure that he was asking for Window-in meantie my mom looked at me and smiled-i am not giving window you give yours-I as usual had a small fight-she smiled and said "i know about you"
Well now with the boy's breakfast over and on pretext of going to restroom i vacated my seat-the boy was still in his seat pestering his father-i returned back to my seat expecting a request
Well no request-few minutes later I exchanged seats with my mom who got bored sitting in reverse-boy still pestering-saw his father digging into his bag-taking out laptop for the boy-train at Salem junction now-the boy busy with laptop all the way till train crossed tiruppur, kept it inside and slept again-Window seat for me for entire journey
My mind said-not all are railfans-I replied-generally children are railfan-mind again said-that was when they didnt have anything else to do on train-may be its right
