The protest was escalated when only one train runs to Shahgarh, with the demand for at least two passenger trains to operate regularly on the Mailani-Pilibhit line. The protesters submitted a memorandum to the station master, threatening to escalate the issue with demonstrations if their demands are not met.

yeh Jogarajpur village mein hai, aur Sehramau village 6 km door hai. Station ka naam logon ko confuse kar raha hai, kyunki bank, post office, hospital, aur college jaise establishments Jogarajpur mein hain. Protest tab aur badh gaya jab Shahgarh tak sirf ek train chal rahi thi, aur unhone Mailani-Pilibhit line pe kam se kam do passenger trains ko regularly chalane ki maang ki. Protesters ne station master ko memorandum submit kiya, aur chetavani di ki agar unki demands puri nahin hui toh woh demonstration karenge.
