Complete land was already handed over to Railways in 2012 after compensating the Dighi stakeholders. It was the local protesters who intervened and didn't want to let reduce the water body size unless it's equally extended or an equal water body is dug somewhere nearby for the lost part. Problem has never been on paper, it's on ground issue.
