The zonal officer for zone 1 informed the mayor that the house tax levied on the mall has been increased from Rs 53 lakh to Rs 1.71 crore annually. A recovery notice will be issued soon. The officer also mentioned that Rs 120 crore is outstanding from the Railways and notices are being sent for recovery.
