Heavy rain and strong winds hit Ernakulam and Idukki on Wednesday, causing significant disruptions. Express by 2 hours, and the Chennai Mail by over half an hour. In Kottayam, trees fell in Vaikaprayar and Kizhakkenada, while electricity poles broke in Vaikom. A house collapsed due to adverse weather in Thodupuzha. Traffic disruptions were also reported in Kochi.

Hazrat Nizamuddin SF Express 2 hours late aur Chennai Mail half an hour se zyada late. Kottayam mein Vaikaprayar aur Kizhakkenada mein trees gir gaye, Vaikom mein electricity poles tut gaye. Thodupuzha mein kharab weather ki wajah se ek ghar gir gaya. Kochi mein bhi traffic disruptions ki report aayi.
