from Sangaldan to Katra. The inspection focused on the ongoing crucial works at the Salkot yard and the T-33 tunnel near Katra, considered a vital link for the project's completion. Khandelwal expressed satisfaction with the progress and instructed project officials to closely monitor the work on the T-33 tunnel. The project is deemed one of the most challenging railway lines in the Indian subcontinent due to its passage through the geologically complex young Himalayas. The Indian Railways is steadily progressing towards connecting the Kashmir Valley to the rest of the railway network.

Railway Board ke Member Infrastructure, Anil Kumar Khandelwal ne Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link National Project ke Srinagar-Sangaldan-Katra section ka gahan aur vistrit nireekshan kiya. kiya. Iske baad unhone Sangaldan se aage Katra tak motor trolley nireekshan kiya. Nireekshan mein Salkot yard aur Katra ke paas T-33 tunnel mein chal rahe mahatvpurn kaam ka bhi ghanvirta se nireekshan kiya gaya, jo pura project complete hone ke liye aavashyak hai. Khandelwal ne progress pe santosha vyakt kiya aur project officials ko T-33 tunnel ke kaam ki bariki se nigrani karne ka nirdesh diya. Yah project bhartiya upamhaadweep mein sabse challenging railway lines mein se ek mana jata hai, jo bhuvaigyanik jattlataon se bhare young Himalayas se ho kar guzarta hai. Har din, Indian Railways Kashmir Valley ko shish railyway network se jodne ke aur kareeb pahunch rahi hai.
