BCY to BSB doubling is remaining from chaukaghat bridge to bsb cantt..
This was left due to ongoing pf2-3 width increase and shorten of pf4-5 (NR)

I guess pf2 & pf3 will have mainline coming from pf BCY and going to BSBS

Pf2-3 of NER width was very less
U cant accommodate 2 heavy rush gaining train from BSB
Therefore RB proposed for shorten of pf4-5 (as it had large width having NR offices for all operations and works..)
Now offices shifted to new building on pf1 and pf4-5 width decreased (work going on) , it was planned in NDA1 govt in regime of Manoj Sinha..

Soon pf1 to pf3 will be one of finest pf, accommodate 22 coacher plus LHB trains with perfect width for all amenities..
Also it was plan for some island platforms on lf4-5 at another END
