Our 12260 New Delhi Sealdah Duronto Express stopped at Asansol for an unscheduled halt of five minutes, and subsequently creaked out of the station at snail's pace. We stopped just after clearing the station. After remaining stationary even after 10 minutes, we were informed of a minor fire in the brakeband of our Ghaziabad WAP7. The fire was minor and folks tended to it with hand-held fire extinguishers. In the midst of this, there was a shrill honk from behind and listening to my sixth sense, I rushed to the door and sneaked in between two curious onlookers. Approaching us steadily was a fresh Ghaziabad WAP7, screeching loudly and yelling at people to move away from the tracks. Accompanying it was the familiar sound of multiple generators whirring away. more... via Patna coolly slid past us through the fourth line, and proceeded on its merry way towards Howrah. The staffs of both the trains, as seen in the video, were thoroughly enjoying this very rare overtake!"
