Train no 12664 trichy hwh express today cancelled in last hours before depurture.. that too without any official notice in sr website or in fb.. really disgusting..for passenger like me who came all the way from mdu to catch it.. upto 12pm it was not showing cancelled.. then on reaching stn heard the news around 2pm..
Another thing my father received msg from IR now that tomorrow 12666 will leave CAPE 12pm.. instead of 8am.. here this too no official notification anywhere i found.. whats going on dont know..

That i too understand..but informing a passenger at eleventh hour isn't a good thing.. several trains incl coromondal n mail announced well before that it will be cancelled.. except this.
Also 12666 still no news of 4hrs late start.. but sms came.. even i am fearing of cancellation..now

They can't access aftermath the situation of cyclones. They predicted it will cross the coast on Friday and on a precautionary measure cancelled all trains for 2 days on Thursday and Friday. May there is widespread damage right from berhampur upto Howrah for 600km along which the cyclone travelled along with the tracks.
