Look at the demand for 11013 and it is enough to judge the crowd in this sector. Even with no guarantee of punctual running people are forced to take Kurla or depend on buses. That's the reason why the special did not work since it ran late. I myself travelled by the MYS-ERS special. It was 3 hours late. YPR-ERS special has good ONT timings for CBE. Plus the Tatkal fare of additional 300 bucks in 3A makes the special fare very high. The KJM-CBE special ran in the day time as fare as I remember. On sunday even Kongu express has good demand from CBE to YPR. So clearly the people who say CBE-SBC does not deserve a dedicated ONT are fooling themselves. The Uday in reverse direction from SBC-CBE is running well with last minute pax. Double deckers across IR are running with poor patronage why single out Uday....

The uday's day of run is also proposed to be changed to monday and wednesday off which may help. If the Uday can depart after 12680 and before West coast, and west coast is delayed by 10 mins it can get even more patronage from CBE.
