IR always find novel ways of slapping surcharge on reserved class paxs, esp of ACC, ACIII, ACII. This is not going to fetch substantial revenue to IR. Instead attention is required to rationalise
- the loss making trains through change of destination/ route/ stoppages/ coach composition/ coach augmentation etc,
- loss making projects through prioritization and focussed implementation of profit making projects
