SDAH intercity train time table is little bit unrealstic ,for which the train never reach sealdah before 2.35pm.The reason behind is on its journey this train dont get clear signal,compare to other regular train Gandevta,Viswabharti,intercity.So being down it regularly reach first station Sainthia arround 11.05am making over 15 min late but
the things is that the train run superb insite it get red signal forsomany times,and it generaly reaches Barddhaman arround 12.15pm(15 min before scheduled time 12.30pm).inspite of having almost 20min of signaling time.As a result the train depart 12.35 pm .Thats why the train can reach sealdah at 2.20pm(1hr 44min with Kamarkundu Stoppge).

But SIr,there is no scarcity of tracks b/w BWN & HWH.Any time they can use 2 tracks for Down Line along with 2 Tracks for Up Line...So trains should hardly halt for PG/I/R.Only thing is that they may get slow to 20 kmph because of changing the tracks,for eg,from 1st line to 3rd Line or From 4th Line to 2nd Line.
Recently I had a very nice experience of parralel run b/w MCA & HWH.Though I dont exactly remember the stations name,but we had parrallel run of 18029 LTT SHM Exp from Uluberia to next 2 Stations & then with 18005 Koraput HWH Exp upto SRC.I was on board 12246 Duronto Exp.
its not a major issue as upto saktigarh there are multiple down line .i am saying that if this train depart 12.20pm then it would nt create any problem with that local train.also if it depart at 12.25 pm then this expres train wil definetly reach saktigarh before local train
generaly it reach saktigarh 12.50pm and dankuni 13.50pm.but it is realy hard for any express even superfast train to cover 21km dankuni to sealdah in 30min (2.20pm),as train has to change multiple lines from dankuni to sealdah.so departing 12.35pm the train cant reach on time.
where pvk sir gone?does find any answer to this question?becuase local emu train at bwn is not issue when it's route are diffrent.
