The track work at Jaitipur station resulted in a blockage between 8:50 AM and 10:00 AM on Sunday, halting train movement on the Lucknow-Kanpur route. Four trains, namely MEMU 04296 from Kanpur to Lucknow, Yashvantpur Gorakhpur Express 12522, Pushpak 12534, and Gorakhpur Ahmedabad 19409, were held at Central Station for two to two and a half hours. platform space bhi khali ho jaayega, kyunki bahut saari trains aati jaati hain aur space kam pad raha hai. Gorakhpur-Asansol Express ko Bahraich tak extend karne pe bhi socha ja raha hai. Isse Bahraich tak direct train connection mil jaayega, jisko aajkal Gonda pe train badalni padti hai. Yeh extension se passengers ko accha connectivity milega aur Gorakhpur Junction pe bheed bhi kam ho jaayegi.
