Vaishno Devi - Kamakhya, and Humsafar Special trains. The farmers blocked rail operations at the Shambhū station, demanding the release of a colleague. The Ambala-Ludhiana rail section was closed, disrupting train services throughout the day. The railways diverted trains originating from Punjab, canceled some passenger trains in the Ambala division, but redirected trains passing through Moradabad. Trains affected included the Jaynagar-Amritsar Shaheed Express (14649), Jansadharan (14617), Durgiana Express (12357), Amritsar-New Jalpaiguri (04652), Shri Mata Vaishno Devi-Kamakhya (15656), Jallianwala Bagh (18104), Amritsar-Saharsa (14604), and Jammu Tawi-Sealdah Humsafar (22318). These trains were delayed by several hours due to rerouting. Other trains were stopped en route, and the Ambala-Sanehwal route remained closed.
