The train driver, displaying quick thinking, applied emergency brakes, preventing a major accident. Following the incident, senior railway officials arrived at the scene to pacify the protestors and assured them that an investigation would be conducted against the station master. The protest led to the disruption of 14 trains on the Patna-DDU line, causing significant inconvenience to passengers, especially those on long-distance routes.
