Gorakhpur, Varanasi, and Prayagraj. The North Central Railway will operate 10 special trains, the North Eastern Railway will operate 8, and the Northern Railway will run another 8 trains. The train services include a variety of routes, such as Prayagraj Junction to Meja Road, Vindhyachal, Mirzapur, Chunar, and Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay, and also from Prayagraj Junction to Bharwari, Sirathu, Khaga, Fatehpur, and Kanpur. Additionally, trains will run from Chhivki, Naini, and Prayagraj Junction to Shankarghar, Dhaura, Manikpur, Jhansi, Satna, and Jabalpur. Further, trains will run from Prayagraj Junction, Fafamau-Phulpur, Bhadohi, Jaunpur, Amethi, Pratapgarh, Unchahar, Raebareli, Lucknow, and Ayodhya Dham. Special trains will also be operating from Prayagraj Rambag and Jhunsi-Gyanpur Road to Banaras, Varanasi, Mau, Ballia, Bhatni, and Gorakhpur. The railway has also planned to stop some key trains at the Subedarganj station for two minutes during the peak bathing days. These trains include the 12417/18 Prayagraj Express, 12275/76 Humsafar Express, 22437/38 Humsafar Express, and 12403/04 Bikaner Express. Special trains like 05109 and 05110 will operate between Banaras and Prayagraj Rambag on specified dates in January and February, while 05111 and 05112 will operate between the same locations on specified dates in January and February. Additionally, 05113 and 05114 will run between Bhatni and Prayagraj Rambag on February 8th and 9th. Lastly, 05115 and 05116 will run between Gorakhpur and Prayagraj Rambag on February 8th and 9th.

The 12301 Rajdhani Express, traveling from Howrah to New Delhi, is currently running eight hours behind schedule. The 12314 Rajdhani Express, which travels from New Delhi to Sealdah, is running 13 hours behind schedule. Other trains, such as the Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express, the Odisha Rajdhani Express, the Khajuraho Kurukshetra Express, the Mahabodhi Express, the Kashi Vishwanath Express, the Purushottam Express, the Malwa Express, the Katihar Amritsar Express, the Vikramshila Express, and the Rewa Anand Vihar Express, are also running significantly behind schedule due to the fog.
