But pls make data consistent as MP and Madya Pradesh are 2 diffrent entities here. Replace MP with madya pradesh so the comparison can be done at a glance.

all those errors are thanks to IR Babus who can't make one consistent pdf.

This data not useful for their own staff with these many inaccuracies. 😅
Do any VBs in India primarily run on single tracks as well? For eg, the GKP-ALD VB runs b/w Raebareily - ALD on some patches of single line. Some parts are under construction post Unchahar, I think, and b/W RBL-Unchachar, pure single line.

I think UDZ-Kota stretch properly satisfies the criterion since it runs a huge chunk on single link stretch. Running ~250 kms for 4 hrs is quite much. Most other VBs[barring MAQ-MAO] spend ~1 - 2 hrs at best.
Wait, almost the whole section is single line there. I am surprised they introduced a VB there. It would greatly impact both xings and OTs and delay other trains in the section.
Quite some single line section there too. Is this because the smallest route b/w PNBE and RNC hasn't been doubled yet? I suppose alternate routes [via Muri?] would be doubled.
Similar is true for CSMT-Madgaon VB as well. Another VB that runs in single line section of Konkan post Veer.

There are too many buses plying on LKO-ALD route and hence pax don't really prefer trains. Plus, this comes bang in the afternoon. Many folks just take the morning or evening ICEs.
How was the quality of food in Executive class? Was it any better than the droll pantry stuff one usually purchases in normal trains?

Prayagraj Junction is undergoing redevelopment at a cost of ₹1,000 crores, largely driven by the Kumbh Mela.
I once took this route via Triveni express. That train is awfully slow, takes almost 6 hrs, twice the time of the VB. The mps of this route is only 110 kph, I think and until some years earlier some part of it on RBL-Prayag stretch was semaphore signalling.

Shouldn't it be GKP-CNB/Farukhabad VB, halts at (Gonda-Barabanki-Aishbagh-Unnao-CNB-Kannauj)?
