Ok I got an update regarding this.
Initially plan was to launch a Super Fast Intercity train (Jan Shatabdi only) between Agartala and Silchar. Later Agartala - Jiribam came into the fray and the same got inaugurated. As per official updates - Jan Shatabdi between Silchar and Agartala is now kept on hold. Will be introduced later.
