two minutes, making it convenient for Jain pilgrims from Balaghat, Katni, Jabalpur, Nagpur, Gondia, and Ballarshah to reach Parasnath, the most significant Jain pilgrimage site in Jharkhand. The train will operate until January 2025, departing from Dhanbad every Wednesday and arriving at Balaghat at 5:30 AM on Thursday. The return journey from Coimbatore will depart every Sunday evening at 5:10 PM and will arrive in Balaghat the next day. Local Jain devotees have expressed their gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, and Balaghat-Sिवनी MP Bharti Pardhi for the initiative.

Dhanbad-Coimbatore Special is scheduled to make its final run on September 9th, while the Barauni-Coimbatore Special is scheduled to make its final departure from Barauni on September 6th. The South Railway's CPTM has proposed extending both trains by 12 trips, meaning the Dhanbad-Coimbatore Special would run until December 2nd and the Barauni-Coimbatore Special would run until November 29th. A new special train will commence from Dhanbad to Coimbatore on September 4th, going through Gomoh, Gaya and DDU. This train will run till after Chhath. Extending the trips of the existing Coimbatore special trains would be a major convenience for passengers, especially those travelling in sleeper class.

If the extensions are not approved, the Dhanbad-Coimbatore Special will make its last run on September 9th and the Barauni-Coimbatore Special will depart from Barauni for the last time on September 6th. The South Railway's CPTM has proposed an extension of 12 runs each for both trains, aiming to run the Dhanbad-Coimbatore Special until December 2nd and the Barauni-Coimbatore Special until November 29th. Gomoh, Gaya, aur DDU se hoti hui ek nayi special train Dhanbad se Coimbatore ke liye 4th September se start ho rahi hai aur yeh Chhath Puja tak chalegi. Agar dono special trains ke runs badh jaate hain toh passengers, khaas kar sleeper coaches mein travel karne wale passengers ko bahut suvidha hogi.

The Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Mandal (DDU Mandal) is constantly working to improve passenger facilities, including by implementing QR code payments at ticket counters. As of September 1st, 2024, there are ample seats available on the special train. The DDU Mandal is also working on improving ticketing systems and facilities for passengers.
