In addition to the railway station market, Durga Puja is celebrated in various localities of Chandrapura, including the DVC colony, established in 1959, the West Palli area (since 1969), and the Central Zone near the police station (since 1964). Other areas like D Type, Purva Palli, Jharnadih, and Darjeeling Colony also celebrate the puja. Rural areas like Telo, Paplo, and Narra also have active Durga Puja celebrations, with Telo even having a permanent temple. Other villages like Tarami, Chirudih, Alargo, Taranari, Taranga, and Kurumba also celebrate the puja traditionally. Chirudih's Giri family performs a special Vaishnavi puja.

Despite repeated pleas, no suitable alternative has been provided for the industrial region served by Ranchi Road, Chainpur, Jageshwar Bihar, Dhaniya, Dumri, Gomia, Bokaro Thermal, Jarangdih, Bermo, Phusro, and Bhandaridah stations. The region, which contributes significant revenue, lacks a direct train to Delhi. The Dhanbad-Alleppey Express lacks full-rack booking from Dhanbad. While other regions receive Vande Bharat Express trains, Dhanbad division is excluded. Mahmood suggests restoring the Patna connection by operating a Vande Bharat Express train from Barkakana to Patna, thus addressing the inconvenience caused by the removal of the Barkakana-Patna coach.

Baar baar apne pleas karne ke baad bhi, Ranchi Road, Chainpur, Jageshwar Bihar, Dhaniya, Dumri, Gomia, Bokaro Thermal, Jarangdih, Bermo, Phusro, aur Bhandaridah stations se jude industrial area ko Patna jaane ki koi theek suvidha nahin mili. Is area se bahut jyada revenue aata hai, par Delhi jaane ki koi direct train nahin hai. Dhanbad-Alleppey Express me Dhanbad se full-rack booking nahin hota. Jabki dusre areas me Vande Bharat Express trains aa rahe hai, Dhanbad division ko iska faayda nahin mil raha hai. Mahmood ne Barkakana se Patna tak Vande Bharat Express train chalane ka suggestion diya hai, jisse Barkakana-Patna coach ko hataane se aayi pareshani ko dur kiya ja sake.

Is boundary wall ke baad sabhi dukaan railway parisar se bahar ho jaayengi aur unke liye koi rasta bhi nahi rahega. Station aane wale rail yatriyon ko bhi isse bhaari pareshani hogi. Pehle bhi railway ne yaha par boundary wall diya tha, par hotel aur dukaanon ke aage aane jaane ke liye rasta diya tha, jisse aam log aur yatri sabhi ko suvidha ho rahi thi. Magar is baar railway ki yojana aisi nahi hai. Beete mangalwar ko thikedar dwara karae jaane wale boundary wall ka virodh mukhiya Anugrh Singh ke netritva me kiya gaya. Iske baad prabhavit dukaan dar former sansad Ravindra Pandey ke pass pahunche. Former sansad ne Dhanbad DRM se phone par baat ki, jahan se sakaratmak aashwasan mila. Iske baad yaha har dukaan ke pass lagbhag do feet aane jaane ke liye rasta diya gaya hai. Isse dukaan daron ko thodi rahat mili hai. Sutro ne bataya ki railway ki yojana sabhi dukaan daron ke liye chhe feet ka ek aam rasta dene ki hai. Waise aane wale samay me yaha ke sabhi dukaan daron ko pareshani ka samna karna pad saka hai.
