The budget also allocated funds for doubling the Garhwa Road-Ramna, Dania-Ranchi Road (partial), Ranchi Road-Patratu (31 km), Dhanbad-Sonnagar (291 km) lines, and for constructing a third line between Dhanbad and Sonnagar. Further, funds were allocated for constructing a flyover for down trains in Gomoh, a rail-over-rail bridge between Garhwa Road and Ramna, and a bridge over level crossings in Tetulmari, Gomoh, and Khanudih. A bridge over level crossing 20 at Keswari, replacing the existing gate, is also part of the project.
