2025 tak operational hone ki umeed hai. Yeh project 2010 mein approved hua tha aur 2018 mein shuru hua tha. Is project mein Gwalior se Sheopur tak narrow gauge rail line ka gauge conversion karke broad gauge line bichai jaani hai. Abhi Gwalior se Jaura tak memo train chal rahi hai. Yah train aage jaakar Sabalgarh aur Sheopur ke beech mein bhi chalegi. Rajasthan ke Digod tak ka survey bhi shuru ho gaya hai. Sheopur se Kota (Digod) tak new broad gauge line bhichane ki planning hai, jisse Sheopur desh ke saare railway network se connect ho jaayega.

जैसे ही श्योपुर कोटा न्यू लाइन के फॉर्मेलिटी पूरे हो जाएंगे और काम शुरू हो जाएगा तो Red line जरूर बना लेना । अभी ग्वालियर श्योपुर गेज कन्वर्जन को पूर्ण करने का टारगेट मार्च 2025 और दिसंबर 2025 रखा गया है।
