is estimated to have 90 kilometers in Uttar Pradesh and the remaining 45 kilometers in Haryana. The Uttar Pradesh government has tasked HRIDC with conducting the feasibility study. This was announced by the Chief Secretary and HRIDC Chairman, TVSN Prasad, during the 28th meeting of the corporation's board of directors. HRIDC is also conducting feasibility studies for other railway projects, including a new railway line between Narwana and Uklana (approximately 27 kilometers) and a new chord line in Kurukshetra (approximately 10 kilometers). The Railway Board has approved the final location survey for the Karnal-Yamunanagar new railway line. HRIDC is working with the Ministry of Railways to get early approval for this project.

The Baghpat Master Plan 2031 has undergone significant revisions, focusing on enhancing transportation, industrial development, and sports activities. The Baghpat-Baraut-Khekra Development Authority drafted the Master Plan in June 2022, and after receiving 568 objections and suggestions, it's been revised. Public feedback is currently being solicited from June 19 to 30, followed by public hearings from July 3 to 5. The finalized Master Plan, after incorporating the feedback, will be submitted to the government for approval.
