The official notification for these name changes is expected to be released soon. To change a station name, the station administration needs to get an NOC from the Home Ministry. The process involves the state government approving the proposed name and then submitting it to the Home Ministry for approval. Once approved, the railway then starts the process of changing the station code, ticketing system, and other signage.
