Just a curiosity about the route map of this train !
Curiosity - Neither does this particular train touches Deoghar nor does it touches Ayodhya but upon introduction it was mentioned to connect both. Couldn't it be routed more wisely and made to run via Gomti Nagar-Barabanki-Ayodhya Dham and then via Kiul-Jasidih-Deoghar-Hansdiha-Godda. It's interesting to know that why the mighty heavyweight MP behind this train agreed to via Bhagalpur. No offense to public of Bhagalpur, as it's a prominent city of Bihar and there were less connection from Lucknow to Bhagalpur...
more... but still if it was routed via Barauni Jhajha Deoghar Hansdiha it would've been more convenient and according to me it could've gained no less patronage than the current route.
Problems #1 - If you want to board this train from Deoghar you need to travel approx 50 kms to Hansdiha from Deoghar. I also know that there are several local DEMUs running from Deoghar to Hansdiha/Godda which if run on time matches with this train's timings, but it's not a hidden fact in today's scenario that they hardly gain any attention nor do they run on time. You wouldn't want to miss your long distant train due to a late running DEMU. If you opt for other modes, you either hire a cab or go by bus. None of them are convenient. Hiring a cab is not possible for every person economically and going by bus is not convenient for older-aged family members.
Problem #2 - Now talking about Hansdiha, there's not even a properly maintained Waiting Hall. A shabby room with wooden benches and unclean-unhygienic toilets and without any proper ventilation leave about ACs. It feels too unsafe as in my case I encountered a drunkard abusing waiting passengers including women and children while the station staff was the least concerned. I heard their talks and it was all about their transfer and postings. It appeared Hansdiha was more of a punishment posting.
With all these problems, I feel this train is running on wroung route. Ideally it must run as follows:
(Gomti Nagar-Barabanki-AyodhyaDham-Mankapur) and (Barauni-Kiul-Jhajha-Jasidih-Deoghar-Hansdiha-Godda).
*Just a fact to be known: Do not leave a chance to taste the delicious SoanPapdi famous in Dumka which is easily available in Hansdiha in and out of station. There's a market at Hansdiha Chowk hardly 1 to 1.5 kms from the station. There are plenty of shops selling fresh soanpapdi made from DesiGhee and RefinedOil both.

Curiosity - Ye train Deoghar ko touch hi nahi karti aur na hi Ayodhya ko, par jab introduce hui thi toh connect karne ka zikr kiya gaya tha. Kya ise thoda smarter route nahi mil sakta tha jo Gomti Nagar-Barabanki-Ayodhya Dham tak jata aur phir Kiul-Jasidih-Deoghar-Hansdiha-Godda ko touch karta. Majedar baat hai ki is train ke peeche vale MP ne isse Bhagalpur ke through jane se kyun agree kiya. Bhagalpur ke public ke liye koi offense nahi hai, kyunki Bihar ka prominent shehar hai aur Lucknow se Bhagalpur tak kum train services thi. Lekin agar Barauni-Jhajha-Deoghar-Hansdiha raste se chalti toh shayad current route se kam patronage nahi milta.

Pata hai ki Deoghar se Hansdiha/Godda ke liye kai local DEMUs chalti hain jo agar time par chalti hai toh is train ke timings se match hoti hai, lekin aaj kal ka scenario me ye hidden fact nahi hai ki ye trains zyada attention gain nahi karti aur time par chalti bhi nahi hain. Aap nahi chahege ki aap apni lambi door ki train miss karde ek late running DEMU ki wajah se. Agar aap dusre modes choose karte hain, toh ya toh cab hire karenge ya bus se jayenge. Dono convenient nahi hain. Har person ke liye cab hire karna economically possible nahi hai aur bus se jana older-aged family members ke liye convenient nahi hai.
Problem #2 - Ab Hansdiha ke baare me baat karte hain, waha proper maintained Waiting Hall bhi nahi hai. Ek ganda kamra wooden benches se aur unclean-unhygienic toilets ke saath bina proper ventilation aur ACs ke. Bahut unsafe lagta hai, jaise meri case me ek drunkard ne wait kar rahe logo ko gaaliya di aur station staff least concerned the.
