Sultanpur Lodhi (SQR)
On the way to Firozpur, lies this place of religious importance to Sikhism. Here, Guru Nanak attained “moksha” under a ber tree. Gurudwara Ber Sahib is built by the side of the ber tree and is one of the important shrines for the Sikhs. The present building of the Gurudwara was built by Maharaja Jagatjit Singh of Kapurthala. We left SQR at 1430 hrs, ten minutes behind schedule.
