On Wednesday, September 18th, 2024, three coaches of the Sethu Express (Train No: 22662) detached from the train shortly after leaving Tiruchi railway junction around 1:50 am. staff and remained detained for approximately 40 minutes. After the coaches were reattached, the train resumed its journey around 2:30 am. The incident is being reported to Chennai for further investigation as the rake's primary maintenance is carried out there.

bina kisi haadse ke ruk gaye. Train ko staff ne rok diya aur lagabhag 40 minute ke liye rok ke rakha gaya. Coaches ko wapas lagaane ke baad, train 2:30 baje aas paas apni yatra shuru kar di. Is incident ki jaankari Chennai ko di ja rahi hai, jahaan rake ka primary maintenance kiya jata hai.
