The Railway Board has announced the resumption of the Barkakana-Patna Palamu Express (train number 13347/13348) halt at Lalgarh Bihar Railway Station, following persistent efforts by Palamu MP Vishnu Dayal Ram. Dhanbad, General Manager Hajipur, and the Chairman of the Railway Board, as well as through a personal meeting with Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. The Railway Board issued a notification on February 16, 2023, regarding the resumption. A formal inauguration ceremony will be held at Lalgarh Railway Station soon. The halt will benefit around 25-30 villages in the area by providing easier access to the district headquarters, Daltonganj. MP Vishnu Dayal Ram expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for their support.
