The largest number of special trains are planned for Uttar Pradesh (353) followed by Bihar (205), Goa (84), North East (36), and Maharashtra (74). The railway continuously monitors passenger demand and adjusts the number of trains and trips accordingly, using various sources like media reports, social media, helpline calls, and waitlist data.
