more... station's platforms were closed on September 22, and the Janahaar Canteen has been closed since January 2024. The closures are attributed to expiring contracts. While IRCTC has issued tenders for the canteen, no operator has come forward. The restaurant is also undergoing a tender process within the South Eastern Railway zone. It is reported that the five stalls were closed by their operators due to outstanding license fees demanded by the railway. Passengers are facing inconvenience as a result. However, the commercial and catering supervisor is working to reopen the stalls to accommodate the influx of passengers during the upcoming festivals.
