The GRP has also launched awareness campaigns on trains, encouraging passengers to be cautious about accepting food or drinks from strangers. This, along with the crackdown on the network, has significantly reduced the incidence of poisonings on trains. Additionally, restrictions on waiting tickets on special trains, reduced crowding at stations, and increased vigilance by GRP personnel have made it harder for criminals to operate in train stations and on trains.

GRP ne train mein jagrookta abhiyan bhi chalaya hai, jismein yaatriyon ko anjaan logon se kuchh bhi khaane ya peene se bachne ke liye kaha gaya hai. Iske saath hi khuraniyon ke network par crack down ki wajah se bhi aisi waadatein kam ho gayi hain. Iske alawa, special trains mein waiting tickets par yaatra ki manahi, stations aur trains mein kam bheed aur GRP personnel ki badhi hui nigrani se bhi criminalon ke liye station aur trains mein kaam karna mushkil ho gaya hai.
