Haryana Chief Minister ML Khattar expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister and announced plans for a future Metro connection between Gurgaon and Faridabad. Separately, Agra Metro Phase 1 has achieved two milestones with the breakthrough of two tunnel boring machines (TBMs), Ganga and Shivaji, at SN Medical College Station and Raja Ki Mandi, respectively. These breakthroughs mark the 13th and 14th milestones for the 7.93 km underground Package AGCC-02. The package, awarded to Afcons-Sam India Consortium, involves constructing twin tunnels connecting seven stations. In total, 14 out of 18 planned breakthroughs for Agra Metro Phase 1 have been achieved, with the remaining breakthroughs expected in the future.
