Due to bridge repairs on the Kharkai River near Adityapur, several trains to/from Tatanagar were cancelled on July 4th, 2024. These included trains to Hatia, Barkakana, and Gua. railway replaced a girder on the bridge using a crane to ensure safe operations. Further line blockages are expected for the bridge repairs, which have already been completed twice. On July 6th, the Howrah-Bardhaman Janshatabdi Express and Howrah-Titlagarh Ispat Express will be cancelled due to the railway block at Santragachi for a new line connection. Additionally, the Jagdalpur-Howrah Sambaleshwari Express will be cancelled on July 5th and 6th. Passengers will be affected and several trains will operate on different routes and timings.
