more... various issues were raised concerning employee welfare, including travel allowance, leave allowances, weekly rest for supervisors, filling vacant positions, creating new positions for new tasks, improving facilities in the railway hospital, building rest houses and station master rooms with attached bathrooms at all stations, repairing dilapidated houses and roads in railway colonies, constructing safety tanks, managing drainage, providing clean drinking water at work, creating common rooms for female employees, and building cycle stands for employees at the station. The DRM assured that all issues would be addressed. A total of 71 items were discussed, including the 10% intake quota for the Engineering department, which will be published within two weeks.
