New ticket counter at Egmore railway station not accessible, complain passengers

Due to the ongoing Egmore railway station redevelopment, the old ticket counter has been closed and a new temporary counter has been set up on EVK Sampath Road, 100 meters away from the old one. System (UTS) app. The lack of clear signage and the distance from the station make it difficult for passengers to find the new counter. Commuters have suggested installing automatic ticket vending machines (ATVM) and providing better signage to address the situation. Southern Railway officials have confirmed that the engineering department is working on installing signboards and ATVM machines and the work will be completed by this week.

aur un logon ko jo Unreserved Ticketing System (UTS) app se waqif nahin hain. Saaf signage ki kami aur station se door hone ki wajah se passengers ko naya counter dhundne mein mushkil ho rahi hai. Commuters ne automatic ticket vending machines (ATVM) lagaane aur better signage dene ka suggestion diya hai. Southern Railway ke officials ne confirm kiya hai ki engineering department signboards aur ATVM machines lagaane ka kaam kar raha hai aur yeh kaam is hafte tak complete ho jaayega.
