Passengers traveling from Subedarganj to Udhampur via Jammu on Tuesday were informed that trains will now run on their scheduled routes. Due to the farmer protests, all trains on the Jammu route were being diverted from Ambala to Ludhiana via Chandigarh, causing significant delays. The Subedarganj-Udhampur Muri Express and other trains were reaching Jammu with delays ranging from five to six hours. The farmers had been blocking the tracks at Shambhū Railway Station since April 17th.

जो बदले हुए रूट से चल रही थीं, वह अपने पुराने रूट पर चलनी शुरू हो गई हैं। मंगलवार को सूबेदारगंज से जम्मू होते हुए उधमपुर जाने वाले यात्रियों को बताया गया कि ट्रेनें अब अपने निर्धारित रूट से ही जाएंगी। किसान आंदोलन की वजह से जम्मू रूट की तमाम ट्रेनें अंबाला से सीधे लुधियाना जाने के बजाया वाया चंडीगढ़ रूट होकर संचालित हो रही थीं। इससे उनकी लेटलतीफी काफी बढ़ जा रही थी। जम्मू पहुंचने में ही सूबेदारगंज-उधमपुर, मुरी एक्सप्रेस आदि ट्रेनें पांच से छह घंटे की देरी से पहुंच रही थीं। शंभू रेलवे स्टेशन पर 17 अप्रैल से किसान ट्रैक जाम करके बैठे हुए थे।
