an alternative route from Siruseri via Kelambakkam to Tirupor, and potentially extending to Mahabalipuram, is being proposed. However, the final decision rests with the Tamil Nadu government. Meanwhile, the extension of the fourth corridor from Poonamallee to Parandur and the fifth corridor from Koyambedu to Avadi have received government approval. Detailed project reports will be prepared within the next six months by consulting firms, with the goal of submission to the Tamil Nadu government.

Lekin final decision Tamil Nadu government ko karna hai. Iske saath hi, chautha corridor ka Poonamallee se Parandur tak aur panchva corridor ka Koyambedu se Avadi tak extension ke liye government ka approval mil gaya hai. Consulting firms aagle 6 mahino mein detailed project reports taiyar karenge aur Tamil Nadu government ko submit karenge.
