He was arrested for illegally generating e-tickets using personal user IDs through 'Gadar Software' and selling them at inflated prices (INR 150-200 higher than the original cost). Authorities seized a laptop, a mobile phone, and INR 3,500 from him. In the previous financial year (2023-24), RPF Prayagraj had registered 99 cases and arrested 105 individuals for similar offenses, recovering 1889 e-tickets worth INR 28,91,290 and 755 user IDs, leading to the blocking of 65 agents.
